The Red Rose Concert Band is 120 years old having begun life as the Liverpool Tramways Company Band in 1892. It has a very distinguished history and hopefully a very rosy future as it warmly accepts new players. In the past fifteen years alone, we have played hundreds of concerts, many in local schools to spread the gift of music but recently we have reduced our commitments to a more leisurely calendar. We also play during the day for various societies, clubs and charities. The band is serious about music but relaxed, cheerful and friendly. Some of our members are former army bandsmen and the rest, keen amateurs, some of whom have only taken up music in their later years. We welcome anyone to join - see our contacts page. Next performance - Afternoon of 13th July at Crawford Village Fair, WN8 9QR
